Below, we take you through the step-by-step process of setting up and packing down a rooftop tent on your 4×4 Car Rental.

Step 1: Before doing anything, ensure that your 4×4 Car Rental with a rooftop tent is a level ground and that the handbrake or footbrake is engaged. Start the process by removing the cover, undoing the zippers and ratchets.

Step 2: Deploy the ladder and tent base. Gently extend the aluminum ladder. This ladder acts as the lever to pull the tent open in the process of how to set up a rooftop tent.

Step 3: Open the tent by pulling the ladder. Gently pull the ladder down until you see the rooftop tent unfold and rest on the ground.

Step 4: Secure the ladder. After pulling the ladder, continue by adjusting the height of the ladder until its fully extended and securely planted.

Step 5: Set up Windows/rainfly, Insert the tension rods to prop open the rainfly and window awnings. Insert these rods into the designated holes in the tent base and hook them into the eyelets of the fabric to keep everything taut.
